Lipoglaze Non Invasive Fat Freezing Treatment….
Below are a list of questions we are frequently asked about Lipoglaze and the answers. If you have any questions not covered here, please do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will come back to you.
- How effective is Lipoglaze treatment?
Lipoglaze treatment uses a powerful non-invasive suction to target areas of your body with unwanted or excess fat. One Lipoglaze treatment from LABS clinic can remove on average 33% of fat. One recent client measured a 33% loss. To see the latest before and after pictures of treatments ‘click here’ (link to before & after pics page)
- Are there risks to non-invasive Liposuction treatments?
Due to the experience we have we minimise the risks by knowing where and how to place the applicator, and at what pressure. around 95% of our clients, post treatment have very little redness, mild bruising and nothing else.
With Lipoglaze you may experience ‘temporary’ mild redness, tingling, numbness, tenderness and possible bruising. You will not be exposed to the risks associated with surgical Liposuction such as excessive bleeding, infection, scaring, uneven or excessive skin, making Lipoglaze a safer non-invasive option.
The temporary risks are discussed during consultation and you are asked to complete a detailed consent form prior to treatment to ensure that you are fully aware and happy to proceed.
- What areas can be treated?
Typically we treat the following: abdomen, hips or flanks (love handles), inner and outer thighs, backs of the arms, man boobs (moobs) and back. However, more specific areas have been treated which include just above the knee, fat overhanging the rear bra strap and lower bottom. So long as the fat stored there is ‘subcutaneous fat’, our consultants will work with you and the lipoglaze technology to treat the area. A definitive appraisal will be carried out during the consultation and, if for any reason we cannot treat you, we will not take unnecessary risks and will be honest with you.
- How many Lipoglaze treatments will I need?
A single treatment gets results. Once we have frozen the fat cells, they will die and be naturally processed, therefore drastically improving the contours of your body. However, a larger person, or a larger area to treat may require treatments depending on the aesthetic preference of the individual. This will be discussed the consultation to ensure that we manage your expectations.
- How often can I have Lipoglaze treatments?
You can have up to four treatments within a 2 month period, and the same area cannot be overlapped within this period. Which is why it is advantageous to have a treatment with LabsClinic, as we have the largest applicator on the market, allowing faster and more cost effective results.
- What happens during the treatment ?
Firstly the consultant undertakes a complex set of measurements, and a thorough examination to ascertain the right type of body fat, and everything necessary in order for the client to get a result with this treatment. Once the consultant is happy and the applicator is applied, you can sit back and relax and literally chill. (excuse the pun).
- How long does the treatment take ?
The treatment lasts for around 4o minutes to an hour, depending on the results of the measurements taken by the consultant. All in all we suggest you allow for an hour an a half with us.
- Which size Lipoglaze head will I need?
The area to be treated in addition to how much excess fatty tissue you wish to target, will influence which size Lipoglaze head is needed.
- How does Lipoglaze feel?
The treatment uses a powerful vacuum from a non-invasive probe to treat target areas. In most cases the treatment does not hurt. You may experience an uncomfortable feeling at first as the applicator pulls the fat into the vacuum which will last for approximately 5 – 10 seconds. After this, you will feel a gentle warming of the treatment area for a couple of minutes before the temperature cools in order to freeze the fat cells and cause cell death.
- What happens to the fat cells after treatment?
Cell death will take place naturally. The cells will be processed via the liver and secreted in the urine. This process typically takes 6 – 8 weeks.
- What happens after treatment?
LABS clinic provides specialist aftercare advice on a bespoke basis. Generally we advise you not to exercise the treated area in terms of muscular activity for around 48 hours. However, besides this exception, the beauty of Lipoglaze for fat reduction is that it really is like lunchtime lipo, you can leave the clinic and go about the rest of your day as normal. Plus, once the fat cells have been frozen you do not need to do anything else for the treatment to work.
During the 6 – 8 weeks post treatment, we do recommend you increase your water intake to help to ‘flush’ out the crystallized lipids in the fat cells and regular body brushing at homes will help to stimulate the lymphatic system to naturally eliminate the fat cells.
And, for those who may require it, we offer expert nutrition and exercise advice to help you to achieve long term positive change and body confidence. We know that you have stored fat for a reason and will fully manage the transition. We ask you to pop in for re-measures and for those requiring weight management guidance, we assess food and exercise diaries.
- What if I have any concerns post treatment?
Simply contact the clinic and we will discuss these with you no matter what they may be.
